What a year 2016 was. The misjudgements and scandals of some of the western world's biggest and best known organisations over the last 12 months alone make an undeniably strong case for what we do...
Hello. We're the Forward Institute. We run a programme aimed at developing responsible leaders.
We were set up both in response to a lack of public trust in large organisations and to equip of leaders with the right skills to address the complex challenges facing business and society in the 21st Century.
We are a nonprofit set up by a coalition of organisations. Our founding organisations include Boston Consulting Group, Barclays, The Metropolitan Police, KPMG, The British Army, The Bank of England, Centrica and Carillion among others.
Our 18-month Fellowship programme, brings "Director-level" leaders together from 25 large organisations. Together they participate in a series of intensive residential courses and field visits, as well as undertaking projects in small groups,
collectively designed to broaden their perspectives, explore their values and hone their responsible leadership skills.
In addition to working with individuals through the programme we also engage at an organisational level over longer periods of time on specific change agendas - helping our partner organisations reinvent their organisational cultures and find better more sustainable ways of operating.
The Forward Institute and our Fellowship programme is an exercise in collaboration and experimentation between all involved. Our collective goal is that organisations and society can work towards both a prosperous and more sustainable future for all.
