A recognised leading authority on organisational performance, Colin is an executive vice president and the global managing partner of the Leadership Consulting Practice based in Heidrick & Struggles' London office.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Colin led the worldwide organisation practice at McKinsey & Co.

Colin has consulted with many of the world's largest organisations and published on important business challenges of organisation health and performance for 25 years. His focus is on developing organisations that can align, execute, and renew better and quicker than competitors. His body of work around building organisational health, purpose, culture, leadership, and capabilities has defined this arena of study and practice.

Colin has published widely, and is author and co-author of seven books, including Accelerating Performance: How Organizations Can Mobilize, Execute, and Transform with Agility. He has presented at many prestigious conferences, including The World Economic Forum and the Harvard Roundtable series around the need to integrate thinking on organisational performance and health so that corporations can create an aligned, high-performance system.

Colin is an associate fellow of Saïd Business School, Oxford University and visiting professor in the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London.
